an der Uni (at university): lo

• According to this rule, time (temporal) comes before place (local):

„Ich bin gestern ins Kino gegangen." (Richtig)

„Ich bin ins Kino gestern gegangen." (Falsch)

• Cause (kausal) comes before manner (modal):

„Paul geht wegen des Schneefalls vorsichtig." (Richtig)

„Paul geht vorsichtig wegen des Schneefalls." (Falsch)

• Similarly, manner (modal) comes before place (local):

„Ich fahre mit meiner Freundin nach Berlin. " (Richtig)

„Ich fahre nach Berlin mit meiner Freundin. " (Falsch)

→ The Tekamolo rule represents the word order in a sentence: Temporal adverbial - Causal adverbial - Modal adverbial - Local adverbial.
