Beid- in Plural

When used in the plural form, "beid-" also serves as a pronoun but refers to two people or objects that are the same or similar. In this case, it is conjugated in the third person plural.

Hast du Anna und Lisa gesehen? Ich habe beide getroffen.	Did you see Anna and Lisa? I met both.
Sind die Bücher hier? Beide sind auf dem Tisch.	Are the books here? Both are on the table.

2) Beid- as an Adjective with Articles

When "beid-" is used as an adjective with an article, it emphasizes the notion of more than one object or subject, but there are distinctions based on whether it is used with a definite article or with no article.

Beid- without Definite Article (Nullartikel)

In this case, "beid-" emphasizes the number as "two."

Beid- with Definite Article (bestimmter Artikel)

When "beid-" is used with a definite article, it stresses the commonality or togetherness of two objects or people.
